How do you know WHO to vote for???

I don't watch hardly any TV because I am busy with school. My biggest reason for not voting is I have no idea who to vote for! I think if people focused a little more on that, people would probably vote more often. If there was a little synopsis on each persons views that we could read and see who most matches our beliefs, that would be great!
